Bike run to benefit West Side Cats

West Side Cats no-kill adoption and rescue will hold its third annual bike run and summer festival Sunday at the Austintown Park.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. with the first bike out at 10 a.m. There also will be a bike show, a Chinese auction, vendors, a 50/50 raffle and a cornhole contest.

Entertainment will kick off at 1 p.m. with music by JD Eicher and the Goodnights. At 3 p.m., Amanda Jones and the Family Band will take the stage and play until 5 p.m. The concert is free to the public. Participation in the bike run is not required to attend the concert.

West Side Cats mascot Smoochie will make an appearance at the July 20 bike run and summer festival at Austintown Township Park.

Hot dogs, nachos, meatball sandwiches, desserts and cold drinks will be available for purchase.

Smoochie, official mascot of West Side Cats, will be hosting the Chinese auction at the pavilion. Area residents are invited to stop in and meet Youngstown's famous feline in person.
