At the May meeting of the Austintown Growth Foundation, Scott Frost, director of Hollywood Gaming, and general manager Mike Galle spoke to the group and gave an update on the progress of the Racino.
The Racino will open in the fall, possibly before October. Casino operators Penn National Gaming Inc. wants to help the foundation do what it does, and is very happy with the reception they have received by the Valley.
With their $250 million investment, they are making it a first-class operation. They will open with 850 terminals with a capacity for 1,500. There are six dining options, covering fine dining to snacks.
