Cardinal Mooney High School Alumni Association presented its 2014 Distinguished Alumni Awards at a prayer service held Jan. 30.
The event was followed by a luncheon for the awardees and their guests. This year's recipients are Susan Squillace Sandine, a 1965 graduate of Cardinal Mooney and Boardman resident, and Dr. Robert Gerberry , who graduated in 1961 and is a Canfield resident.
The Distinguished Alumni Awards are presented annually. The criterion requires that the awardee demonstrate a continuing concern and dedication for others by embracing the Cardinal Mooney motto of Sanctity, Scholarship, and Discipline.
