Jill Jones-Heintz and her son Tyler Heintz, a junior at Boardman High School, were part of a large work crew that spent this week setting up for a Trash and Treasure Sale at the Canfield Presbyterian Church. The sale will help raise funds for a 10-day mission trip to Haiti at the end of July. During the trip, poor Haitians will receive personal care packages and the team will conduct a Bible school and finish building a school. This will be Jill’s second mission trip and Tyler’s third, but will be the first one the mother-son team have gone on outside the country. “I am a little nervous about the trip, but it will be good because we do good things,” Jill said.
