Lions honor student helpers

The Boardman High School National Honor Society has been a co-sponsor for the Boardman Lions Coats for Kids for the last three years. In appreciation

for their support, the club was presented certificates from Boardman

National Honor Society officers Fred Ouimet, Georgia Kasamias, Sarah Shon, Luke Markovitch, Nick Klein, and Ciara Oslin are honored by Boardman Lions at a recent meeting, recognizing the society’s work with the Boardman Lions Coats for Kids campaign.

donations have helped to make the coats program a success. There are

more Boardman children with new coats this year thanks to their generosity.

The NHS has also helped the Lions with their White Cane collection

last year, and will do so this year also.

In addition to their involvement with the Lions, the club also provides hats and gloves to the Rescue Mission, conducts a Neighborhood Food Drive, and provides a variety of service to Boardman High School.

Lion Judy Jones says, "When you see an NHS member, be sure to thank them for all they do."
