Poland Union Elementary School welcomes the building's newest parents during its annual Kindergarten Tea, held Friday, Sept. 28. Kindergarten students sang several songs and recited a poem to an easy to please audience. Kindergarten teachers, Gina Chiaro and Tina Bonarigo, and student teacher, Joelle Pillar, prepared their students for the event. PTO members were on hand and encouraged those in attendance to volunteer their time. 'The future of our school's PTO is sitting in this room. Please consider becoming an active member.' said Principal Mike Masucci. The response was overwhelming as sign-up sheets quickly filled up. Shown are Lori Genova and her son, Nico.
