The Wright House in Mesa, Ariz., was the setting on Aug. 25, 2012 for the summer wedding of Mara Leonora Gonzales and Jeffrey Ryan Taylor. The Rev. Debbi Brown officiated at the 6 p.m. garden ceremony that united the daughter of the late Rodolfo Gonzales and Gabrielle Scandy Gonzales, formerly of Canfield. The groom is the son of JR and Sydney Taylor of Gilbert, Ariz. Cousins of the bride, Kathy Shafer Veith and Pat Shafer sang for the processional of the wedding party members.

A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at The Wright House. The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.

The bride wore an Oleg Cassini one-shoulder ballgown of ivory tulle over ivory satin with crystal and beadwork encrusting the bodice and chapel train. A crystal comb held the Vera Wang walking veil. She carried a bouquet of dark blue hydrangeas and ivory roses. A special pewter picture charm of her late father was attached to the bouquet.
