Graces celebrate 50 years of marriage

Dominic and Sally Grace of Canfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary the evening of July 2 at Fair Park Hall in Canfield. The celebration was hosted by their children, Celeste and Marty Conrad of Tampa, Fla., and Denise and Kevin Lindheim, and Carol and Tom Mullen, of Naples, Fla. They also have seven grandchildren.

Dominic Grace and the former Sally Lefoer were married June 24, 1961, at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown. They are currently members of St. Michael Parish in Canfield.

Mrs. Grace was a teacher in Youngstown City Schools for 40 years before retiring in 2007. She is an active member of the National Education Association, the Ohio Education Association and the Ohio Retired Teachers Association.

Mr. Grace served with the U.S. Army in Korea from 1954 to 1957. He worked as a meat cutter for the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. in Youngstown until his retirement in 1980. He is a member of the St. Michael Men’s Club and serves as president of the Council for Better Nutrition in Youngstown.
