Blankets of Hope at Hilltop

January 8, 2020
The Town Crier

First grade students at Hilltop Elementary School in Canfield joined students across the country and helped with over 100 blankets as part of the Blankets of Hope project. The project, "a kindness movement", provides blankets with an inspirational note handwritten by students across the country to those needing some warmth. The 501c3 delivers blankets to the over 500,000 Americans who are homeless. The blankets were delivered to the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley.
