Boardman students picked 'Kindness' as super power in Stay in School Contest

Four Boardman Center Intermediate School students were among the 22 winners recognized for the Annual "Stay In School" Poster Contest sponsored by the Mahoning County Juvenile Court Advisory Board. They were recognized at the Embassy Banquet Center on Nov. 7. The theme this year was "My Super Power At School is..." and for two of Boardman's winners, they chose kindness as their superpower.

Jordyn Lacivita took second place and Zavyer Magada won Honorable Mention in the fifth grade division, while Ivy Webster placed third, and Nozima Ibadullaeva was awarded Honorable Mention. Boardman winners received certificates, and earned gift cards from $50 to $125.
