ECEC receives gift of iPads and more

March 13, 2019
The Town Crier
On Wednesday, Feb. 27 The Early Childhood Education Center at St. Luke’s received a gift of five iPads, iPad pens, IPad cases and a $500 Best Buy gift card. This gift was donated in honor of Joseph P. Koken, a lifetime member of the parish, who passed away on Feb. 5. Koken oldest son, Joe is an employee of Renewal by Anderson in Arizona and his company wanted to do something that was impactful and meaningful to keep Koken.s spirit with the company. His company has a Window of Giving Program and it is the organization’s way to express love in the communities where they do business. For each Renewal by Andersen window installed, $5 supports the Window of Giving program, providing paid volunteer time, “wish list” donations, grant funding and sponsorships, and a 3:1 corporate match. The Esler Companies recognize that their people work hard and often do not have the spare time they’d like to contribute to the causes that are important to them. This program enables teammates to contribute to worthy causes while at work.
