Sallee explained that the students have to get in and out of the school in the cold weather, but also have to endure the cold during recess outside. She said that the effect goes beyond school, because the students need the coats on the weekends and after school.

Sallee said they are thankful for the coats to help the students. She continued to say that the deed helps the families who are struggling by supplying the students with coats, so they have one less expense to worry about. Sallee said any family in need of a coat can contact her throughout the school year.

Top Flite Financial acquired the coats from business partners throughout the community. They set up a raffle where each donated coat led to a chance to win four tickets to see the Cleveland Cavaliers play.
