Bulldog grapplers taken down by Leopards

Poland senior wrestler Dante Peretti takes control of the action during his 145-pound match against Liberty. Peretti was defeated by a score of 6-4, and Poland lost to Liberty by a score of 58-6. The varsity Bulldogs will battle the Austintown Fitch Falcons Friday and Saturday at Fitch High School.

The Bulldogs’ Jared Tucker attempts to turn his opponent from Liberty at Saturday’s home match against Liberty. Tucker, a freshman for the Bulldogs, wrestled his first varsity match and was defeated by a score of 8-3.

Dan Pagan, a 182-pound freshman varsity wrestler, controls the action at last weekend’s home match against the Leopards. Pagan was one of two Bulldogs to win their match as the young team was defeated by a score of 58-6.
