Aug. 15

Following a two vehicle crash on East Main Street, Susan Ausmann, 62, 2995 Meadow Lane, Youngstown, was cited for an improper lane change.

Aug. 18

Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, Raul Gonzelez Tovar, 59, 142 Saranac Ave., Youngstown, was charged with driving while under suspension and was cited for a defective exhaust.

A case was closed with no charges filed at 160 Sandstone Lane regarding a report of a dog fatality due to extensive injuries sustained from two other dogs.

Aug. 19

Following a traffic stop on South Briarcliff Drive, James H. Frantz III, 27, 4121 New Road, Austintown, was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 21

Following a traffic stop on West Main Street, Michael Zell, 38, 485 W. Main St., Canfield, was charged with failure to reinstate and was cited for a marked lanes violation.

Following a traffic stop on Herbert Road, Carla Elenz, 46, 118 Hawkins Lane, Columbiana, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for speeding (36 in a 25 zone).

Following a traffic stop on Turner Road while working with the OVI Task Force, Gilberto Arreguin, 40, 1915 Fourth St., Canton, was charged with driving while under suspension and was cited for following too closely.

Aug. 22

Following a traffic stop on Niles-Canfield Road, Frank Pratt, 42, 295 Park Ave., Youngstown, was charged with driving while under suspension, was cited for an unsafe vehicle, and was taken into custody on a Warren Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.

Aug. 23

Following a traffic stop on Mahoning Avenue while working with the OVI Task Force, Devin Bancroft, 21, 1161 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Following a traffic stop on Mahoning Avenue while working with the OVI Task Force, Andrew Derenzis, 27, 723 Birch Hill Drive, Youngstown, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired.

Following a traffic stop on Mahoning Avenue while working with the OVI Task Force, Robert Jeter, 33, 1719 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and driving while under suspension, and was cited for a marked lanes violation, and Shalamar Teague, 24, of the same address was charged with wrongful entrustment.

Following a traffic stop on state Route 11, Brian Cappelli, 36, 167-1/2 Kibler Road, New Springfield, was charged with driving while under suspension and was cited for an inadequate exhaust.

Following a traffic stop on East Main Street, Eleftherois Hazimihalis, 42, 7671 Huntington Drive, Boardman, was cited for an expired registration and unlawful plate.

Following a traffic stop on state Route 11 northbound, Jeffrey Kunkle, 25, 239 Kent Run Road, Towanda, Pa., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for reckless operation and improper lane change.

Following a traffic stop on South Avenue while working with the OVI Task Force, Breaeja Bell, 19, 150 Clarencedale Ave., Youngstown, was charged with drug abuse.

Aug. 24

Following a traffic stop on Oak Ridge Drive while working with the OVI Task Force, Jaime Maese, 40, 1102 Columbia Ave., Fairborn, was charged with driving while under suspension and was cited for an inadequate exhaust.

Following a traffic stop on Boardman-Poland Road while working with the OVI Task Force, Kristopher Dean, 20, 709 W. Martin St., East Palestine, was charged with drug abuse and driving while under suspension, and was cited for lighted lights required, Matthew Hardenbrook, 20, 42631 Ohio 517, Columbiana was charged with drug abuse, and Aaron Morrisey-Kacenski, 20, 46624 Taylor Ave., New Waterford, was charged with drug abuse.

Following a traffic stop on state Route 446, Terry Elko, 51, 42919 Crestview Road, Columbiana, was cited for an expired registration.

Police also handled the following during the period:

1 report of an unruly juvenile with no charges filed.

1 report of a disturbance with no charges filed.
