Aug. 2, 3:34 a.m. -- Custody was taken from Garrettsville Police of Daniel L. Hiles, 60, 1156 Adelaide Drive, Warren, who was under a Boardman warrant for telecommunications harassment.

12:59 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, Robert N. McClimans, 21, 47 Saint John Ave., Niles, was charged with theft.

7:06 p.m. -- Following a call to Pink, 7401 Market St., regarding a shoplifter, Amy L. Barlett, 31, 224 E. Edgewood Ave., New Castle, Pa., was charged with theft.

Aug. 3, 3:06 a.m. -- Following an investigation into a suspicious person in the parking lots at U.S. 224 and West Boulevard, a 15-year-old Boardman male was cited for a curfew violation.

7:18 a.m. -- Following a call to Dollar General, 4996 Market St., regarding a suspicious person, Jesse L. Carter Jr., 59, 2465 Stocker Ave., Youngstown, was taken into custody on a Trumbull County warrant for failure to appear on theft related charges.

2:15 p.m. -- Custody was taken from Youngstown Police of Allen M. Vazquez, 25, 2752 Hammaker St., Youngstown, who was under a Boardman warrant for domestic violence.

3:24 p.m. -- Following a call to Red Lobster, 1410 Boardman-Poland Road regarding a wanted person, Kaila M. McConnell, 25, 42 S. Breadon St., Youngstown, was taken into custody on a Boardman warrant for domestic violence.

6:17 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, Cynthia M. Soich, 48, 43 Cresent St., Struthers, was charged with theft.

Aug. 4, 5:42 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, David J. Shoenfel, 25, 3594 Meese Road, Louisville, was charged with theft and was taken into custody on two active warrants out of Stark County.

7:00 p.m. -- Following a call to Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road, regarding a shoplifter, Kaylyn M. Pontuti, 20, 4419 W. Middletown Road, Canfield, was charged with theft.

7:52 p.m. -- Following a call to J.C. Penney's, 7401 Market St., regarding a shoplifter, a 15-year-old Youngstown male and a 14-year-old Youngstown male were each charged with theft.

10:59 p.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Market Street, Robert L. Anderson, 36, 408 Indiana Ave., Girard, was charged with obstructing official business and open container and was taken into custody on a Trumbull County warrant for a probation violation, and Danielle Crago, 37, 1338 Douglas Ave., Youngstown, was charged with obstructing official business, open container, drug abuse, possession of dangerous drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 5, 3:18 a.m. -- Following a call to Elva Road regarding a group of juveniles causing problems, a 14-year-old Youngstown male was charged with obstructing official business, and a 16-year-old Youngstown female was charged with obstructing official business and resisting arrest.

11:49 a.m. -- Following a call to Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd., regarding a shoplifter, Vishnu V. Denson, 32, 137 Lemans Drive, Boardman, was charged with theft.

8:06 p.m. -- Following a wave-over at the Shops at Boardman Park regarding a person throwing a backpack in the woods, Nino U. Carosella, 33, 3740 E. Calla Road, Poland, was charged with drug abuse, possession of drug instruments and drug paraphernalia.

11:38 p.m. -- Following a call to 7385 Bonnie Place regarding a domestic situation, a 15-year-old Boardman female was charged with unruly juvenile and obstructing official business, and Jaime M. McCutcheon, 21, 7385 Bonnie Place, Boardman, was charged with obstructing official business, tampering with evidence, contributing to the unruliness of a minor, drug abuse, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 6, 9:45 a.m. -- Custody was taken from U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force deputies of Brandon D. Thomas, 24, 45 S. Maryland Ave., Youngstown, who was under Boardman warrants for trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:21 p.m. -- Custody was taken from Stark County deputies of Jessica L. Raines, 24, 2613 11th St., Canton, who was under a Boardman warrant for theft.

3:11 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, Derrick G. McIntosh, 45, 962 Martin Luther King Blvd., Youngstown, was charged with theft, criminal trespassing, and was taken into custody on a Youngstown warrant for a probation violation.

4:21 p.m. -- Custody was taken from U.S. Marshall's Fugitive Task Force deputies of William P. Huff, 25, 52-1/2 W. Liberty St., Girard, who was under a Boardman warrant for assault.

6:45 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, a 17-year-old Warren male was charged with theft.

Aug. 7, 11:26 p.m. -- Following a call to 32 Willow Drive regarding 9-1-1 calls about a fight in progress, Danielle M. Blubaugh, 24, 57 Willow Drive, Youngstown, was charged with domestic violence, resisting arrest and obstructing official business.

Police also responded to the following during the period:
