July 31, 10:41 a.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., regarding an employee theft, Katie L. O'Hara, 24, 337.5 Rosemont Ave., Austintown, was charged with theft.

Aug. 1, 4:15 p.m. -- Following a person attempting to pick up a towed vehicle at the Austintown Police Station, Stephen D. Fleischer, 29, 41 Placid Ave., Austintown, was taken into custody on five active warrants for unlawful conduct with a minor.

5:13 p.m. -- Following a call to South Raccoon Road regarding an intoxicated female walking a dog, Melissa A. Paterchak, 48, 265 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, was charged with disorderly conduct.

7:42 p.m. -- Following the observation of a male urinating in the parking lot of Billy's Bar, 40 S. Meridian Road, Daniel M. Miklos, 58, 1149 Old Furnace Road, Youngstown, was charged with disorderly conduct.

11:37 p.m. -- Following a call to 4695 Webb Road regarding an unwanted person at the residence, Christina M. Baluch, 48, homeless, was charged with criminal trespassing.

Aug. 2, 1:28 a.m. -- Following an investigation into a male laying face down on the sidewalk at Wedgewood Lanes, 1747 S. Raccoon Road, Adam P. Bowden, 35, 4503 Nantucket Blvd., Austintown, was charged with disorderly conduct.

4:41 p.m. -- Following a call to Chipper's Sports Bar, 5 N. Edgehill Ave. regarding having a person removed from the establishment, Anthony F. Winterburn, 38, 168 Parkgate Ave., Austintown, was charged with criminal trespassing.

11:30 p.m. -- Following an on-station report of an assault at 3916 Nassau Court, Brian L. Habeger, 45, of that address, was charged with domestic violence and was cited for possession of marijuana.

Aug. 6, 11:47 p.m. -- Custody was taken from Weathersfield Police of Richard A. Lawler, 35, 1169 Central Parkway Ave., Warren, who was under an Austintown warrant for obstructing official business.

Aug. 7, 2:26 p.m. -- Following a call to Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave., regarding a shoplifter, James P. Kitchen, 28, 6 Merri Drive, North Jackson, was charged with theft.

6:29 p.m. -- Custody was taken from Drug Task Force officers of Jeffrey L. Long, 48, 126 Rosly St., Youngstown, who was under an Austintown warrant for criminal simulation.

During the period, the department also handled:

20 reports of theft.

17 domestic calls with no arrests.

4 reports of criminal damaging.

2 reports of telecommunications harassment.
