Fire trucks, police cars, classic Chevys and Ford Sunliner convertibles. What more could you ask for on a nice summer afternoon?
Add this to food, a disc jockey and fun for all and you get the 5th annual Poland Rotary Car Show.
The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Kmart, 1209 Boardman-Poland Road. The rain date is Aug. 13.
Admission is free to the public.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Poland Firemen's Association and the Poland Township Police Department.
Matt Bodine, car show chair, said, ''Poland Rotary is proud to show its continuing support for our safety forces by raising money to assist the fire department in its training programs and the township police department's police dog program.''
There is a $5 registration fee for show vehicles, and prizes will be awarded.
More information is available by contacting Bodine at 330-702-8100 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
