The fourth annual Making Kids Count Golf Outing will take place Aug. 16 at Mill Creek Golf Course in Boardman.
Registration beings at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to noon.
The cost of the outing is $75 per golfer, $300 per foursome. This cost covers 18 holes of golf with cart, lunch and dinner, which is catered by Barry Dyngles Real Southern BBQ, and all beverages including beer and water.
If participants don't want to golf but still support the cause, dinner tickets are available for $25.
The winning foursome will have their entry fees returned along with other prizes valued at $100 per golfer. There also will be a closest to pin, longest drive contest, and a chance auction with prizes.

Making Kids Count Inc. is a non-profit organization that believe every child deserves to feel special. MKC has three core areas: school support, little extras, and parental assistance and special events. Through these, MKC has a number of programs that enable charitable causes, from hosting parties for children at shelters, providing gifts to patients at Akron Children's Hospital, and handing out comfort kits to children in foster care.
Making Kids Count operates its programs in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana and Ashtabula counties. Its funding comes exclusively through donations it receives from the community.
