Canfield senior Carter Rhoads officially announced picking Tiffin University to continue his education and to play intercollegiate baseball.
A catcher, Carter is a two-year letter winner for the baseball Cards, compiling this season a .377 batting average, 12 RBIs, 60 put-outs and a .948 fielding percentage, while allowing only two passed balls.
In the summer, he plays for the Roth Brothers Class B team.

Also a two-year letter winner in football, Carter has a 3.0 GPA while having been active in a number of school extracurricular activities and volunteering at various community youth camps.
He was chosen to represent Canfield at an Ohio High School Athletic Association student leadership conference.
Carter plans to pursue a degree in forensic psychology at Tiffin. He is the son of Darren and Holly Rhoads.
