May 24

1:14 p.m. -- Following a call to Sears, 7401 Market St., regarding a shoplifter, Courtney S. Bailey, 19, 1366 Hamlin Drive, Ashtabula, was charged with theft.

5:50 p.m. -- Following a call to Giant Eagle, 1201 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, Terri L. Melone, 41, 26 Katherine Drive, Struthers, was charged with theft, and was taken into custody on a Boardman warrant for theft.

7:04 p.m. -- Following a call to Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, Rebecca L. Robinson, 38, 470 Fowler St., Cortland, was charged with theft.

11:11 p.m. -- Custody was taken from Austintown police of Monique L. Lobato, 32, 402 Moherman Ave., Youngstown, who was under a Boardman warrant for defrauding of livery.

May 25

6:46 p.m. -- Custody was taken from Stark County deputies of Jennifer L. Black, 40, 500 E. Main St., Alliance, who was under a Boardman warrant for theft.

6:52 p.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Glenwood Avenue, Gary Z. Whitfield, 28, 239 Potomac Ave., Youngstown, was cited for driving while under suspension, and was taken into custody on four Youngstown warrants for failure to appear on traffic and falsification charges.

10:50 p.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Pheasant Drive, John L. Mayo, 27, 1303 Red Tail Hawk Court, Boardman, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired.

May 26

1:40 a.m. -- Custody was taken from Austintown Police of Tina M. Hall, 30, 2632 Oakwood Ave., Youngstown, who was under a Boardman warrant for theft.

2:05 a.m. -- Following a traffic stop on Market Street, Timothy U. Saunders, 46, 14340 Columbiana-Canfield Road, Columbiana, was charged with drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for failure to use a turn signal.

3:40 p.m. -- Following a call to a South Schenley Avenue residence regarding a domestic situation, a 15-year-old Boardman female was charged with domestic violence.

May 27

7:05 a.m. -- Following a call to a Lemans Avenue residence regarding a domestic situation, a 15-year-old Boardman female was charged with domestic violence.

12:34 p.m. -- Following a call to Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive, regarding a shoplifter, a 16-year-old Boardman male was charged with theft.

7:37 p.m. -- Custody was taken from the U.S. Marshall's Task Force of David E. Leaghty, 30, 138 S. Maryland Ave., Youngstown, who was under Boardman warrants for breaking and entering and criminal damaging.

8:25 p.m. -- Following a call to a Applecrest Court residence regarding a domestic situation, a 13-year-old Boardman male was charged with domestic violence.

May 28

4:56 p.m. -- Following a call to Seven Seventeen Credit Union, 7371 California Ave., regarding a counterfeit check, Brianna-Lashay V. Howard, 24, 6363 Brace St., Detroit, Mich., was charged with obstructing official business, passing bad checks, identity fraud, forgery, and receiving stolen property.

5:29 p.m. -- Following a dispatch to the Mahoning County Jail regarding a wanted person, David W. Buchanan, 40, 5512 Callaway Circle, Austintown, was taken into custody on a Boardman warrant for theft.

Police also responded to the following during the period:

* 10 domestic disputes with no arrests made.

* 16 reports of theft.

* 6 reports of criminal damaging.

* 4 reports of telecommunications harassment.
