On May 28, Jessie Driver IV signed his letter of intent to continue his basketball career with the Mount Union Purple Raiders this fall. Driver has tallied a good deal of honors while playing for the Falcons.
''He was named First Team All Conference in 2013 and 2014,'' said Fitch head basketball coach Brian Beany. ''This past season he was Conference Player of the Year and was named to the First Team All Northeast Ohio and Second Team All State.''
Driver, grandson of Jessie Driver Jr., was also a three-year starter for the Falcons and had lettered all three years. He also puts in time with the Youngstown Flash traveling team in his off-season.

Besides his competitive spirit on the court, he also donates his time to help younger players in the summer basketball camp.
At Mount Union, Driver plans to major in marketing. He said he chose the school because it felt comfortable and for the security of knowing he will be there for the next four years.
