DSAV to host bike camp for disabled children

The Down Syndrome Association of the Valley will be hosting the first bike camp for children and young adults with disabilities in the Mahoning Valley.

iCan Shine, a national non-profit organization, will conduct the camp. They use adapted equipment and trained professionals to teach individuals to ride a conventional two-wheeled bicycle.

The camp sessions are 70 minutes long and run five consecutive days. The organization is offering five different time slots.

Glenwood Middle School in Boardman will be the camp location and the cost is $75. This opportunity is for all individuals with a disability. Space is limited.
