Jenna Cicchillo was installed at the 75 president of the Mahoning County Medical Society Alliance on May 5 at a luncheon at the home of Paula Jakubek.
Presiding over the installation was Carol Sankovic, a past-president of the Ohio State Medical Association Alliance.
Other officers installed were Diana McDonald, vice president; Paula Jakubek, treasurer; and Elizabeth Roller, secretary.
Cicchillo was born in Hubbard. She graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing and received a master's degree in nursing from KSU, completing the adult nurse practitioner program. She is employed as a nurse practitioner for Eastern Ohio Pulmonary Consultants Inc. in Boardman.
Cicchillo has been active in the local Alliance for the last four years, serving as vice president and secretary. She is a member of the Akron Children's Hospital Kids Crew volunteer group as well as the Medical Alliance T.W.I.G.S. group. She volunteers her time as a nurse practitioner for the Midlothian Free Clinic.
Plans for the Alliance during her term will focus on assisting the medical community in the ongoing efforts to provide healthcare and services to the underserved populations of Mahoning County.
Cicchillo lives in Boardman with her twin boys and her husband, Michael Cicchillo, M.D., a vascular surgeon.
