A ceremony was held in the Canfield High School athletic foyer May 6 in honor of senior varsity bowler Paul Harris.
Harris formally announced his commitment to attend Muskingum University in the fall and to bowl for head coach Doug Smith's Fighting Muskies next season.
Excelling as a bowler while at Canfield, Harris earned four varsity letters in the sport as well as three first team all-conference spots in All-American Conference competition. He is a two-time team captain, a two-time state tournament qualifier, earned individual first team All-Ohio honors, and was a key member of Canfield's Ohio High School Athletic Association's Division I 2013 state championship squad.

Harris is an honor roll student at Canfield, maintaining a 3.0 GPA. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and hunting. He plans to major in special education at Muskingum, and he is the son of Paul and Jennifer Harris.
