Canfield students showcase artwork:

The artwork of Canfield Local School students will be on display from 6 to 9 p.m. May 21 and 22 in the Canfield High School gymnasium.

''It's a gallery type event that's sure to please everyone,'' said Canfield Superintendent Alex Geordan.

The annual art show features work from students in kindergarten through 12th grade and is open to the public.

Canfield looking for coaches for various sports teams:

Canfield High School is searching for a head boys' and girls' cross country coach, head girls' basketball coach and head boys' and girls' swim coach for the 2014-15 school year.

No associated teaching positions are anticipated. Prior experience is preferred.

Basketball team to hold camp:

The Canfield boys varsity basketball team will be hosting ''Cardinal Camp,'' a youth basketball camp from June 25 to 27 at Canfield Middle School.

This camp will be for boys that will be entering grades third through eighth for the 2014/2015 school year. The cost for the camp is $45.

Parents interested in registering for the camp can pick the forms up at all Canfield Local School buildings and in the Canfield Athletic Office in the high school. Registration forms can also be found at www.mmuck7.weebly.com.
