May 1, 2014
The Town Crier

Representatives from Part Vista and the Life Long Learning Institute visited the Rotary Club of Austintown and presented ideas for this spring, summer and fall learning opportunities.

Lori Shandon and Marise Sayyoun said that the lifelong learning institute seeks to challenge the minds and satisfy the curiosity of older adults. Each semester features over 20 courses from four lecture series topics. The lecture series includes topics that cover arts and culture, history and political science, religion and spirituality, wellness and rehabilitation. The course topics were thoughtfully selected to provide authentic experiences that unite to enrich mind, body and spirit.

Also present at the Rotary meeting were Rosemary and Wade Raridon, who are retired from YSU and now sit on the resident council at Park Vista.
