April 9

4:36 p.m. Following a traffic stop on U.S. 224, Kenneth R. Goodspeed, 26, 4 Hemlock Drive, Greenville, Pa., was cited for operating a vehicle without a valid license.

April 10

5:54 a.m. Following a traffic stop on Riverside Drive, Stephen D. Henderson, 45, 83 12th St., Wellsburg, W.V., was cited for speeding and was taken into custody on a Mahoning County arrest warrant.

4:02 p.m. Following a call to a Diana Drive residence regarding a fight, a 16-year-old Poland female was charged with domestic violence.

April 11

9:18 p.m. Following a traffic stop on U.S. 224, a 17-year-old Boardman male was charged with driving while under suspension and was cited for no rear license plate light.

April 12

9:03 p.m. Following a call to Chase Bank, 20 North Main St. regarding a person driving recklessly, a male subject was found to be disoriented and a family member was called to assist him.

April 14

4:30 p.m. Following a traffic stop on U.S. 224, Christopher D. Justice, 26, 347 First St., Lowellville, was charged with driving while under suspension.

9:55 p.m. Following a traffic stop on Ohio 616 on a vehicle dragging an oversize load sign, Ian L. Kaye, 21, 513 Mine Road, Clarksburg, Pa., was charged with driving while under restricted suspension.

April 15

12:56 a.m. Assistance was given to Poland Township Police who were looking for a suspicious subject on Indian Trail.

April 16

2:38 a.m. Following a traffic stop on Ohio 170, James E. Johnston, 29, 266 Tremble Ave., Campbell, was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for loud music.

April 17

5:59 p.m. Following a call to Walgreen's, 30 West McKinley Way regarding kids riding their bikes close to the door entrance, two juveniles were located and agreed to move away from the doors.

6:55 p.m. An investigation was conducted following a 9-1-1 call at Sunrise Retirement Home on U.S. 224. Officers spoke with the resident and verified everyone was alright.

April 18

1:30 a.m. Following a traffic stop on U.S. 224, Robert L. Ragain, 41, 1299 Sunset Valley Road, New Castle, Pa., was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and was cited for a marked lanes violation.

April 19

1:20 a.m. Following a traffic stop on U.S. 224, John F. Zucco, 32, 1726 Manhatten Ave., Youngstown, was cited for driving while under suspension and for a marked lanes violation.

April 21

2:13 p.m. Following a call to a parking lot at U.S. 224, a report was taken regarding a road rage incident involving a motorist that followed a female subject and got out of the car and began striking her vehicle before she drove off and called police.

5:24 p.m. Following a call to the Poland Post Office on U.S. 224 regarding a road rage incident, Lorraine A. Bruno, 44, 388 West Omar St., Struthers, was cited for disorderly conduct.

8:22 p.m. Assistance was provided to the fire department who responded to 32 Orchard Ave. regarding an open burning violation.

April 22

2:10 a.m. Following a traffic stop on U.S. 224, Chike Rakilam, 24, 559 Liberty Road, Youngstown, was cited for driving while under suspension and speeding.

During the period, police also handled the following:

1 domestic situation with no charges filed.

2 security checks on residential properties.

5 alarm investigations.
