The Poland Youth Soccer Association will be holding registration for the upcoming season May 4 and May 10. Registration will take place at Dobbins Elementary School in Poland from noon to 5 p.m. on both dates.
''We average between 650 to 700 kids each year through our program,'' said PR chairman Dr. James Krumpak. ''It's all just recreational soccer for kids of any age from kindergarten through high school.''
He said the program has teams that are arranged by age and gender, except for high school aged players. The high schoolers are co-ed.

Poland Youth Soccer Association officers Cecilia Lang, Skip Slaven, and Jerry Stare work to prepare for their organization's upcoming soccer registration.
As in past years, Krumpak said the organization will be conducting an equipment swap at the time of registration.
''If a family has equipment in useable shape that their child has grown out of, please consider bringing it to registration as a donation,'' he said. ''And you may look through equipment brought in by others to see if it fits your needs. There is no requirement to bring an item in order to take something.''
The PYSA has served the Poland community and adjoining areas for over thirty years, providing both recreational and travel programs. All games are played at the Poland Township Community Park on Cowden Road and the season runs for eight weeks in September and October beginning Labor Day weekend. The PYSA cares for the fields at township park so the kids can enjoy the sport.
