The Rotary Club of Austintown enabled Fitch students to spend a day March 31 with professionals.

This opportunity is part of the Rotary's focus on vocational education and is an annual event. Members of the Fitch Interact Club, sponsored by Rotary, spent time with community professionals in the student's field of interest.

In the medical profession, Kaelyn Snyder spent the morning with Rotarian Dr.Mitch Dalvin. A member since 1984, Dalvin maintains his podiatry practice in Austintown on S. Raccoon Road. Jessica Halas, a junior, spent the day hosted by Chief Robert Gavalier and the Austintown Police Department.
