Annual Garlic Mustard Pull set for April 26
The Poland Forest Board would like to invite volunteers to the Annual Garlic Mustard Pull and Stream Cleanup.
The Poland Municipal Forest is renowned for the beauty of its carpet of bluebells and other wild flowers. Garlic mustard is an evasive, non-native plant that chokes out the native plants and spring is the best time to remove it.
All volunteer groups must have an adult supervisor and should bring their own work gloves. For information contact Elinor Zedaker at 330-757-2489 or Gordon Longmuir at 330-757-4058.
