Three Information Technology students from the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center will represent Ohio at the Business Professionals of America National Competition. The students earned the chance to compete nationally after earning high rankings at the state competition in Columbus.
Dallas Braund of South Range, Sean Beatty of Austintown and Andrew Blose of Struthers will attend the national competition April 30 to May 4 in Indianapolis. Braund placed first in Human Resource Management, with Beatty and Blose each placing in the top five in Network Administration Using Mircosoft and Advanced Word Processing Skills respectively.
The MCCTC BPA team is led by Information Technology Instructor Helen Slack. The following students also placed in the top 10 at the state level competition: Sam Buzas of Poland, Justin Campanelli of South Range, Gabrielle Doran from Western Reserve, Anthony Neville of Poland and Nicholas Yambar of Boardman.
