Austintown Board of Education President Kathy Mock, right and Fitch Falcon senior football kicker Nick Sheely, center, presented a $320 check presentation to the Austintown Council of PTA's President Charisse Smith on March 18 at the Council's annual Founder's Day Dinner at Rachel's Restaurant. Nick's extraordinary kicking skills helped lead the Falcons to their first undefeated regular season in school history. During the 2013 football season, he launched 32 kickoffs for touchbacks, believed to be a school record. Through the Mock Family Charitable Fund administered by Kathy and Tom Mock, it was decided to award the Austintown PTA Council with a $10 donation for each of Nickás touchback kicks for a total of $320. After graduating from Fitch in June, Nick will continue his studies at Youngstown State University where he has been awarded a football scholarship.
