Marilyn Abramski of Boardman has been named Woman of the Year by the Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women's Association.
A longtime employee and current supervisor in the Mahoning County Treasurer's Office, Abramski was honored by members during the chapter's March 11 meeting at Cafe Capri. Joining in the celebratory dinner were special guests that included her husband, Bob, and sons, Jason and Kevin.
Abramski's affiliation with ABWA dates back several decades, having initially joined the Youngstown Charter Chapter and then becoming a charter member of the former Holly Chapter. Since renewing her membership in ABWA in 2012, she has been involved in its Relay for Life team and its annual Chinese auction. She is currently the chapter's secretary, a member of St. Christine Church in Youngstown and a has been volunteer with the Silver Linings group serving Mahoning Valley residents.

Mill Creek ABWA names Marilyn Abramski Woman of the Year
The daughter of the late Wesley and Irene Bucila of Youngstown, Abramski is a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and has an Associate of Applied Business degree from Youngstown State University.
Fundraising projects hosted by the Mill Creek Chapter of ABWA have provided academic scholarships to deserving college students from the Mahoning Valley since 1962.
