Fifth-graders bring out the animals in science

March 13, 2014
The Town Crier

Austintown Middle School fifth grade science teacher Alicia Burnfield worked with students last month to teach them about endangered animals, and how they affect our world.

Each student was instructed to choose an endangered animal to research, find ways to help the animal and create a project presentation. Some of the students dressed like the animal they chose to research during their presentation to their classmates and to third-graders.

The projects will be displayed in the hall of Burnfield's classroom through March.
