Senior 120 lb. Korey Frost, his younger brother 138 lb. Sophomore C.J. Frost and Freshman 126 lb. Georgio Poullas all advanced to the OHSAA State Championship at the Jerome Schottenstein Center at The Ohio State University in front more than 10,000 spectators to watch 16 wrestlers in 14 weight classes from three divisions.
Korey Frost placed the highest of the trio by finishing fifth with his only losses coming from State Champ Dustin Warner of Claymont and third place finisher Mario Kastl of St. Paris Graham before Korey ended his run with a 7-5 victory over Ryan Kelley of Hillsboro to take his spot on the podium. Georgio Poullas the only freshman to qualify for state in his weight class also found a spot on the podium by going 3-3 on the day and placing sixth with 43 wins on the year and C.J. Frost came up short by going winless at the tournament but looking forward to making a run at a return trip to Columbus his Junior year.
