Canfield Speech and Debate team takes first place in Sylvania Invite

On Jan. 10-11, the Canfield Speech and Debate Team attended the annual Sylvania Invitational (the largest regular-season tournament in Ohio) and came away with first place as a team. The event saw approximately 1050 students competing from 41 schools. First place as a team is a first, at that tournament, in the teamás history. The team beat second-place Massillon Jackson by a margin of 130 to 119.5.
