Scouts from Poland Boy Scout Troop 44 attended the winter campout at Camp Stambaugh on Jan. 11. The annual event, called the Klondike Derby, brings scouts together from the area to practice their skills that include how to make a campfire, how to build a bridge to get across the river, rope skills, using a compass and other skills needed to survive outdoors under winter conditions. Pictured front row from left are: Will Homrighauser and Phillip Hockensmith. Back row from left are: Branen Testa, Mark Stein and Jacob Hockensmith.
