The Eynon family of Boardman were surprised by seven Canfield High School graduates Dec. 21 when the group arrived at the home to entertain the family with holiday songs.

The carolers had previously entertained a number of Canfield area relatives, friends and neighbors. Michelle Adams, Paul Dahman, Teddi Frazzini, Danielle Goddard, Brianne Rothbauer, Michael Seifert and Brad Smith have been singing during the holidays for the past three years, spreading Christmas cheer with harmony.

"What a great experience, said Susan Eynon.

In addition to the singing graduates, another group of carolers came to the Eynon's door about a half hour later. A group of Canfield High School students from St. Michael's Church, accompanied by their Youth Group Leader, sang carols for the family. They also brought homemade-cookies as their gift to the family.

"What a wonderful group of teens who care about their community and used their Saturday night to share the Christmas Spirit with others," Eynon said.

She said all too often, teens and young adults are criticized and under-appreciated.

"Speaking for my family and many citizens of Canfield, I thank you all for sharing your talents, enthusiasm and friendship this Holiday Season," Eynon said.
