McCormick is fall bride

Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield was the setting on Sept. 14 for the fall wedding of Lorin Donzel Dickinson IV and his bride, Brittany Lynne McCormick.

The Rev. Walter Coy officiated at the late afternoon ceremony that united the daughter of Dolus II and Melanie McCormick of Canfield, and the son of Lorin III and Linda Dickinson of Howland, and Carol Byers of Canfield.

A reception was held in their honor directly after the ceremony at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield that evening and they left for a honeymoon to Jamaica.

The bride wore a Maggie Sottero, white, mermaid, strapless, sweetheart neckline, with Swarovski crystal beading featuring a chapel train. Her veil also had Swarovski crystal beading and she carried a bouquet of White David Austin roses, taupe roses, champagne roses, and white spray roses.

Melissa McCormick of Canfield, was the bride's maid of honor and her bridesmaid was Jill Stevens of Chicago. They wore black dresses with red high heels and carried red rose bouquets. The flower girl was Paige Dickinson of Howland, niece of the groom.

Serving the best man for the groom was his best friend, Andrew Wagner of Columbus. His groomsman was Nick Panezich of New Springfield. Richie Rice of Columbiana, the groom's brother, was the ring bearer.

The bride earned her cosmetology license from Casal Aveda Institute and is a senior hair colorist at Casal De Spa and Salon.

Her husband graduated from Muskingum University, earning a bachelor's degree in business and economics, and is a business manager for Sherwin Williams.

They have made their home in Canfield.
