Dana Christen Elias of Canfield and David Alex Patrick of Austintown were united in the sacrament of marriage on June 22 at St. John Greek Orthodox Church in Boardman. A reception was held in their honor at Mahoning Country Club in Girard. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David and Estee Elias of Canfield, and the groom is the son of Mr. Greg Patrick of Austintown and Ms. Linda Dumas-Patrick of Austintown.
The bride wore a white, strapless, satin gown adorned with beading at the waist and a flowing train, and carried a bouquet of white calla lilies with purple and turquoise accents.
The Koumbari (sponsors of marriage) were Kathy Conrad of Canfield and Heather McCormick of Mineral Ridge. Alexis Elias-Spohn of Hudson, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Jaclyn Sarah Elias of Canfield, sister of the bride; Carrie DeMarco of Canfield, and Amanda O'Neill of Hubbard, friends of the bride; and Krista Patrick of Austintown, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids wore purple knee-length dresses and carried purple and white calla lilies with turquoise accents. The bride's niece, Alena Rosado of Las Vegas, was a junior bridesmaid. Caitlin Guy was the flower girl, and the ring bearer was Landon Spohn, nephew and godson of the bride and groom.

Serving as best man for the groom was his brother, Kevin Patrick of Hudson. His groomsmen included friends Brad Homer of Hubbard, Josh Stipanovich of Canfield, and Michael O'Neill of Hubbard. Readers were Chrissy Palmer of Austintown, friend of the bride, and Alyssa Paidas of Boardman, cousin of the bride.
A third grade teacher at Austintown Intermediate School, the bride earned her bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University. The groom graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, and earned a doctorate of physical therapy degree, both at Youngstown State University. He is employed at Drayer Physical Therapy in Austintown.
Following a honeymoon trip in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the Patricks have made their home in Austintown.
