Impaired corn hole is a challenge

September 5, 2013

Canfield High School senior Maeli Foley finds it hard to find the bean bag while wearing drunk goggles. She was taking part in a simulation by wearing goggles rated for .25 blood alcohol levels, which is three times the legal limit in Ohio for a drunk driver. Mahoning Safe Communities volunteer Colin Wilson from Austintown, makes it a point to hold the bean bag out so people can see what a challenge it is to grab it. When they do get ahold of it, they find an even bigger challenge trying to come close to the corn hole board. The simulation was presented to show fairgoers just how dangerous an impaired driver is on the public highways.
