A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel for Delores M. Rembowski, 79, who died Friday Aug. 16, 2013 at Hospice House in Poland.
Mrs. Rembowski was born Aug. 4, 1934 in Berlin Center, the daughter of Floyd and Freida (Orr) Teeters.
Delores attended North Jackson High School, where she graduated in 1952. She was a self-employed seamstress.
She enjoyed crafts, especially making her wool Santa Clauses and Canadian geese. Delores had participated in many craft shows for more than 25 years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. The family had a swimming pool and she taught all the neighborhood kids how to swim and dive.
She leaves behind her three daughters: Cheryl (John) DeSellem of Canfield, Rachelle (Harry) Benchwick of Green Twp., and Lisa Rembowski of Boardman, her six grandchildren: Jesse Hoffman, Stephanie Benchwick, Corrin Hoffman, Ryan (Megan) Benchwick and Carissa and Michael Benchwick as well as her great granddaughter, Sage Benchwick, and two brothers, Earl Teeters of Milton, and Foster Teeters of Warren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Rembowski, whom she married on May 24, 1954 and her brothers Wayne, Gene and Gary Teeters.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, prior to the service.
