Car show set for Sunday

August 7, 2013
Special to the Town Crier

The Poland Rotary Car show will take place this Sunday, Aug. 11 at the Poland United Methodist Church, 1940 Boardman-Poland Road. The event is free to the public and will feature fire trucks, police vehicles and a wide variety of classic and custom cars. This is the fourth annual event and proceeds will benefit the Poland Fireman's Association and the Poland Township Police Department.

Matt Bodine, car show chair, says, "Poland Rotary is proud to show its continuing support for our safety forces by raising money to assist the fire department in its training programs and the township police department's police dog program."

There is a $5 registration fee for show vehicles and prizes will be awarded. More information is available by contacting Bodine at 330-702-8100 or matt@bodineperry.com.
