I just returned from Poland's Memorial Day parade, and I am a little disappointed. I was not dismayed by the parade. It is some of my fellow spectators that have me chagrined. There were at least a dozen men scattered around me in the crowd, and they, like me, were wearing baseball caps. When the flag(s) passed, no one in my vicinity removed their cap. Come on, guys, how difficult is it to pull that cap off of your head for a few minutes? It's disrespectful.
I myself am bald, so I certainly love to put on a ball cap but I also know when it's time to take it off.
