Winners blast through tourney

The Soccer Vision Academy Project 24 soccer team were crowned champions in the Blast Cup recently held in Columbus. The U10 team was undefeated in tournament play and advanced to the final, winning 4-2. This was the third time the P24's went to the finals in Columbus. The tournament is one of the building blocks preparing this team to play in Spain in the spring of 2015. To follow their progress, search Facebook for Project 24 Soccer Boosters. Team members in the front row are: Anthony Gagliardi of Hubbard, Jacob Tatebe of Warren, Austin Stassinis of LaBrae, Douglas Foster of Niles, and Giovanni Morton of Austintown; and in the back row: Tristen Rose of Lakeview, Chase Sudzina of Niles, Blake Stockton of Lakeview, Matthew Eakins of Champion, Gabriel Altawil of Howland, and coach and director Anthony James.
