The Boardman Center Middle School Student Leadership Council performed its own version of the popular 'Project Runway' show. More than 50 students participated in a fashion show 'with a catch.' – absolutely no cloth material could be used. Tape, paper, plastic, tissue, glue etc. were examples of the items permitted. Students were required to walk the runway before a panel of judges while a team member described their creations. The design team known as 'The Fabulous Four' won the evening's event. Pictured wearing their 'no cloth' designs are escort Matt Mowery, model Jessica Mowery, escort Tyler Blangero, model Haley Blangero, designer Katie Bodamer and designer Caitlyn Hadley. Advisor Marilyn Scheetz stated, 'The dresses were just beautiful. You could wear them to prom.'
