April 3, 2013
The Town Crier
Photo special to the Town Crier
Looking pretty in her tiara and purple studded dress, Pearl Walters celebrated her 103rd birthday with a proclamation from Austintown elected officials delivered at Austinwoods Nursing Facility. Born on March 26, 1910, Walters is the mother of six children, has 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren. She played the harmonica and piano, her favorite color is pink, favorite holiday is Easter, and favorite song 'When The Work Is All Done This Fall.' Pictured are Austintown trustees the Rev. Rick Stauffer, Lisa Oles, Fiscal Officer Laurie Wolfe, and Jim Davis with Pearl Walters.
