The Boardman boys indoor track team sent three athletes to The Ohio State Indoor Championship Meet at the University of Akron last weekend. Representing the Spartans were senior Nathan Jones and juniors Alan Burns and Mark Hadley.
Hadley achieved All-Ohio honors by placing second in the 1600 meter run in a time of 4:12. The time is a new BHS indoor track school record. Also earning All-Ohio status was Alan Burns thanks to his seventh-place finish in the 3200 meter run in a time of 9:44.
Jones finished 11th overall in the 60 meter dash in a time of 7.09. The Spartans will open the outdoor track season on Friday, April 5 at The Dover Mini-Relays.
