Brock Kimble of Austintown, and Jack DelGarbino of Girard, wrestled in the Ohio Youth Wrestling Association State Championship on Sunday, Feb. 10 at Akron Firestone High School. Heading into the state tournament, they were the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds out of the Austintown District at 150 lbs. After a long day of wrestling, they faced each other in the championship final. Kimble edged DelGarbino, 6-4. Kimble was crowned state champion, and DelGarbino was crowned state runner-up. The boys trained with each other in preparation for the tournament.
