Madeleine Landry and Ashley Weaver bust out laughing while singing the song, “Build Me Up Buttercup.” The crowd began singing the background lyrics while Landry and Weaver sang the lead vocals.
The Jan. 10 Poland High School annual talent show was a big hit as those in the past were as well. Unexpectedly, Joe Weetman goes out into the audience. While singing Weetman stops and bends down face to face to Geno Columbo and sings to him. The audience enjoyed with laughter the surprised more than Columbo as he points his finger at Weetman.
Comedian Jordan Varkonda, a senior at Poland, does voice impersonation of several characters from the popular series, “Family Guy” as well as the late Bob Hope.
Jacqueline Jepsen heads toward the baby grand with a big smile upon her face as the audience greets her with a round of cheers.
Guitarist Madeleine Queen sings a beautiful rendition of the touching, “Make You Feel My Love” by Bob Dylan. After the song, master of ceremonies Mitch Thomas yelled, “Long live the queen.”
